NPHS Student Enters 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program
We are proud to announce that after taking the PSAT, NPHS student, Stockton Huether, has met the requirements to enter the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program. Out of over 1.3 million applicants, only 50,000 students meet the necessary standards, placing him in the top 5% of PSAT scores in the state of Iowa. Each of the students selected will be recognized as either Semifinalists or Commended students next fall.
What’s the next step in the process?
Out of the 50,000 students earning the high scorers distinction, 16,000 will qualify as semi-finalists and move forward to compete for the prestigious Merit Scholarship. The results will be released in September.
